Self-determination is so 19th century.

American Politics

I loathe the NHS, but, seriously, the citizens of a country should decide what kind of healthcare system they want — not a supranational organisation led by unelected, unaccountable apparatchiks in a foreign capital and a country thousands of miles away in collusion with multinational corporations and globalists.

How often have we heard ‘the government should not come between a woman and a doctor’? Well, I guess it’s OK if it’s a foreign government and an undemocratic organisation that doesn't give one whit about what the people want or think.

This is just another reason to #VoteBrexit4PeaceAndProsperity!

From the Daily Express, “Major leak from Brussels reveals NHS will be ‘KILLED OFF’ if Britain remains in the EU”:

Hundreds of papers from the secretive trade talks between the US and EU have been released online.

They appear to confirm fears that the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership talks between Brussels and Washington will, when ratified, lead to the health service being privatised or dismantled.

The documents, obtained by Greenpeace Netherlands, include a US proposal to have a committee with representatives from Washington and Brussels to meet each year “to review state-owned enterprises and monopolies” which would include the NHS.

The committee would meet annually and would not be guaranteed a representative from Britain.

But it would still be able to review state-run services in this country. Its duties would include checking that state services do not “distort” the market.

One section of the papers makes it clear that the EU and America would seek eventually to end all forms of state intervention in competition with the private sector.

It says: “The parties acknowledge that anti-competitive business practices and state interventions have the potential to distort the proper functioning of markets and undermine the benefits of trade liberalisation.”

Opponents of TTIP have long argued that including healthcare in the treaty will force the privatisation of the NHS or at least make the process impossible to reverse.

EU officials claim they will have wording that allows for the NHS to be protected but have so far failed to provide a full exemption.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister David Cameron has refused to ask for an exemption while trying to persuade British voters to back the Remain campaign in the EU Referendum.

Pro-Brexit campaigners have long warned that if Britain remains in the EU it will see its health service privatised and the NHS broken up.

This is yet another example of Obama preaching ‘Do as I say, not as I do.’ After he has moved to ‘distort the market’ of America’s healthcare economy, he and Merkel now believe that they should have the absolute say-so about Britain's healthcare system.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister David Cameron has refused to ask for an exemption while trying to persuade British voters to back the Remain campaign in the EU Referendum.

I highlighted this for a reason. Muffin is a treasonous, little bastard, who has always had a huge conflict of interest and snobbish affection for the EU’s ‘Rule of the Elite’ rather than the ‘Swivel-Eyed Loons’ — the great, unwashed masses of his own countrymen.

Today, this story broke: “REVEALED: Would EU believe it! Sam Cam’s dad, who inherited a 3,000 acre estate, rakes in MILLIONS in Euro subsidies (from a fund set up to assist impoverished farmers).”

David Cameron’s aristocrat father-in-law, Sir Reginald Adrian Berkeley Sheffield, 8th Baronet, is raking in millions of pounds in taxpayer-funded EU farming subsidies.

The amount of self-dealing in the EUSSR is staggering and the supranational has become the rich man’s playground where elite technocrats are installed to overrule the people and make sure that ‘the ignorants’ never again have a say in their own governments or lives. Self-determination is so 19th century.

Update. I thought that one component of the original rationale of the EU experiment was that a counter-balancing superpower should be created to check the USA. It’s strange trying to harmonize that idea with the collusion between Brussels and Washington.
